The Next Books For the last 18 months I've been working on a children's book project. The first three books (see above) will be launched shortly. If you'd like to know more about this, simply click on one of the three front pages shown above and you will be taken to Pippa's web site. * * * * * The 3rd Kooler CD All of the songs are written for this CD it's just a matter of getting time in the studio to work on it. We are doing a lot of filming at the moment so this may well end up as a DVD/Blu Ray release. It probably depends on costs rather than anything else. In The Studio
All songs (c) Kevin Cookson The flash player above contains - for Kooler's 3rd CD - the current rehearsal tracks for the group. The track listing is not complete. The songs are not finished. Play order will change, tunes, keys, arrangements, words, harmonies - all may change as we improve the songs in the studio. At least four more, prabably six more, tracks are to follow! * * * * * Improving Our YouTube Presence As I indicated above we are currently filming nearly everything we record in order to improve our YouTube presence - this is a big learner curve though so don't expect results too quickly! * * * * * James Loynes (Click on the image to get to James' Site) I recently recorded a track for James Loynes and Sally Deford called 'A Believers Prayer'. The accompaniment was originally Piano and I was given complete freedom to interpret it for Guitar. The resultant track is on James' How Can I Keep From Singing CD. After doing my bit it was handed over to James & Sally who then changed the arrangement slightly so that it blended better with the CD release. I have their permission to let my fans hear my original interpretation. All instruments played by me - here it is:
* * * * * James Donaldson
Following our example James Donaldson has started recording some of his material for YouTube - I've included samples on my YouTube page - have a look! * * * * * Jim Bowen DVD
After doing a gig at the Thwaites Empire Theatre in Blackburn I struck up a conversation with Jim Bowen and casually suggested making a DVD of some of his material. He liked the idea and I produced the DVD shown above. It was an interesting project to do. Kevin |
