Our children have all scattered now like seeds amongst the earth with teachings from their mother since their birth. She taught them how to love and laugh, and live their life out loud if she could see them now she’d be so proud ‘Cause roads and new horizons are things they keep their eyes on, roads and new horizons where they go. Performance: Lead Vocal - Paul Craven; Harmonies – James Donaldson, Wayne McDonald & Dave Green; Rhythm Guitar – Kevin Cookson; Lead Acoustic Guitar – Jim Hopwood; Bass – Wayne McDonald. Songwriter’s Notes: My best mate (James Donaldson) had recently moved to Scotland and the event had made me think about how all our lives change over time. As I sat down to write a song about my feelings at this time the phrase ‘roads and new horizons’ kept entering my head.
